About me

If you have never lived abroad, it is hard to advise international clients.

Since 2011 I’ve been based in Helsinki, Finland. I am a fully qualified Finnish lawyer and a member of the Finnish Bar Association, advising clients on employment related matters for more than a decade. Before establishing my own law firm in 2023, I was a senior lawyer in the employment practice group in the international law firm Bird & Bird for over five years. From 2012 to 2018 I was Head of Legal for the German-Finnish Chamber of Commerce, advising mainly German companies on their Finnish legal matters – often with a strong focus on employment law.
      I am also fully qualified in German law. I completed my law studies at the University of Freiburg in 2007 and took the German bar exam in 2009. During the first years of my career, I practised as a lawyer in a major law firm in Berlin.
      I grew up in two cultures – Germany and Finland. My mother tongues are both Finnish and German, and I am proficient in English and fluent in Spanish. I have also lived and worked in Denmark. Not only do I understand the law, I also understand the differences in legal culture and cultures in general.
      I was recommended in the employment section of the legal directory “The Legal 500” in 2023 for Finland.
